Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Chattanooga, TN

Work as a Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in the Chattanooga, TN area with a full-time, on-site contract position starting January 5, 2026, through May 21, 2026. This role serves multiple schools within the Hamilton County Schools district, with caseloads and assignments varying according to student schedules. The position requires an active Tennessee Department of Education certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.

• Provide specialized instruction and support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across various grade levels.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive educational support.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to optimize learning outcomes.

• Active Tennessee DOE certification in Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
• Experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple student schedules and caseloads effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and staff.
