We have openings for the following courses starting October 2023 and January 2024:

  • Management, Economics, Accounting, Computer Applications, and Introduction to Business at Kimball Campus (Spring 2024 and beyond)
  • Economics at Main Campus (October 2023 and beyond)
  • Online Accounting courses (Summer 2024)
Position Summary

Under supervision, Adjunct Instructors teach assigned classes, provide quality instruction, and maintain a positive learning environment. Responsibilities include conducting classes, maintaining attendance records, evaluating student performance, assigning grades, and supporting college policies.

Essential Functions
  • Provide holistic student support, including services outside the classroom such as Admissions, Student Support Center, Career Services, and more, ensuring accessibility and equity-minded practices.
  • Support organizational culture by aligning with college values and promoting best practices.
  • Demonstrate teaching excellence through evidence-based practices and adapt pedagogical approaches to fit campus context.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Strong grasp of academic area, commitment to student success, self-motivated, positive, punctual, and effective communicator.
  • Willingness to learn about equity-minded principles supporting students.
Qualifications

All BUSN courses: Master’s in Business or equivalent; or Bachelor’s with two professional certifications or relevant experience.

ECON 2100 & ECON 2200: Master’s in Economics or 18 graduate hours in Economics.

ACCT 1010 & ACCT 1020: Master’s in Accounting or Business, or Bachelor’s with certifications/experience.

INFS 1010 (Computer Applications): Master’s in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Bachelor’s with certifications/experience.

Preferred:
Teaching experience. All applications must include CV/Resume and unofficial transcripts, indicating the preferred opening.
