PositionSummary
We are seeking a motivated Project Manager/Estimator to support the successful delivery of commercial sitework and civil construction projects. This role works closely with other office staff and field leadership to assist with scheduling, cost tracking, submittal coordination, documentation, and client communication. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking to grow within a fast-paced, expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day management of commercial construction projects
- Scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting activities
- Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, and suppliers
- Procurement of materials
- Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications
- Maintain accurate project documentation and job cost records
- Help ensure work complies with contract documents, plans, specifications, and safety requirements
- Participate in project meetings with owners, general contractors, engineers, and inspectors
- Support close-out activities including punch lists, as-builts, and final documentation
- Assist estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed
- Degree in Construction Management or 2 years of experience in commercial construction
- Exposure to earthwork, utilities, concrete, masonry, plumbing, or similar scopes preferred
- Basic understanding of construction scheduling, job cost controls, and contract documents
- Proficiency or willingness to learn construction management software (e.g., Plan Swift, Agg Tek, or similar)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
