Senior Construction Inspector

CONSOR Engineers is hiring a Senior Construction Inspector to monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and other contract documents related to excavations, drainage facilities, road surfaces, and structures.

• Inspect, observe, document, and verify work progress by the construction contractor to ensure compliance with project schedule, contract documents, and plans.
• Utilize engineering inspection practices to perform complex mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work to date.
• Maintain daily inspector reports of assigned work activities, contractor labor and equipment, and quantity of material received and verified.
• Perform on‑site material testing and produce as‑constructed sketches as required.

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Obtain any required certifications and pass appropriate qualification tests for the position within specified time frames.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Experience working in outdoor environments that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, and hazard exposure.
• Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 35 lbs.
