Bookkeeper

Hypercountry Entertainment is a production company rooted in the Nashville area, operating across film production, equipment and stage rentals, residential development, and rental property management. Our founders are entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and deeply invested in every venture, and we need a bookkeeper who matches that energy.

We're looking for a Mid-Senior level Bookkeeper who thrives in complexity. This is not a one-entity, one-ledger job. You'll be managing the finances across multiple businesses and income streams for two business owners, keeping everything organized, accurate, and ahead of schedule. If you're the kind of person who color-codes their spreadsheets, notices discrepancies before anyone else, and proactively flags a tax deadline two weeks out, we want to hear from you.

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple business entities (production company, equipment/stage rentals, rental properties, residential development, and W-2 income)
• Track income, expenses, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations across all accounts
• Proactively communicate upcoming payments, deadlines, and financial obligations
• Identify opportunities to save money or improve cash flow and bring them to the table unprompted
• Serve as a reliable point of contact, responsive to calls and emails, prioritizing communication with the owners
• Coordinate with CPAs and other financial professionals as needed
• Keep meticulous records so nothing EVER slips through the cracks

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally across multiple entities or industries
• Proficiency in Quick Books (Online and/or Desktop) or similar accounting software
• Experience with real estate, rental properties, or entertainment/production industries is a strong plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, not reactive
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of professional trust and discretion
• Located in or able to regularly work in the Chattanooga or Nashville, TN area
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can shift
