Staff Accountant

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will handle various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial processes. This position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining efficient workflows.

Responsibilities:

- Process invoices and ensure accurate entry into the financial system.

- Record vendor invoices with precision and attention to detail.

- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

- Collect and post payments efficiently to maintain financial records.

- Perform data entry tasks related to daily receipts and other accounting activities.

- Maintain organized records for all financial transactions.

- Adapt to varying workloads while ensuring consistent quality.

- Utilize Dynamics software to support accounting operations.

Requirements

- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.

- Proficiency in data entry and financial recordkeeping.

- Strong ability to process and post invoices and payments.

- Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

- Knowledge of Dynamics or similar accounting software.

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Capability to manage fluctuating workloads effectively.

- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team member
