Minimum qualifications or equivalents
Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation is looking to add an Accounting Coordinator to the Finance team! The successful candidate will assist in all activities relating to general accounting in addition to coordinating the day‑to‑day accounts payable preparation, including but not limited to obtaining invoice approvals, issuing of payments, organization of Purchasing Card invoices and approvals, and execution of the accounts‑payable month‑end close process.

EducationHigh school diploma, required
Two years post high school education with a concentration in accounting, preferred.
ExperienceExperience in healthcare setting, preferred.
2 years of hands‑on Accounts Payable experience and General Accounting/Bookkeeping experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Intermediate experience with MS Word/Excel required
Strong typing (45 WPM) and general clerical skills required
Physical / Mental RequirementsPosition requires ability to frequently:
Push, pull, and/or lift light objects.
Sit for prolonged periods.
Must be able to see objects closely.
Must be able to hear normal sounds with some degree of background noise.
Requires constant eye/hand coordination.
Concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption.
Attention span - must be able to concentrate on assigned tasks for a minimum of 45-60 minutes at a time.
Must be able to remember multiple assignments given to self and others over long periods of time.
