Assistant Principal

The Ball-Chatham School District is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Assistant Principal for Glenwood Middle School for the  school year. The Assistant Principal serves as a key member of the building leadership team, supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students. This role works collaboratively with teachers, support staff, administrators, students, and families to foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities include providing instructional leadership, supporting staff development, assisting with student discipline and behavioral interventions, ensuring implementation of district policies, and contributing to school improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership skills, effective communication, a commitment to equity, and the ability to build positive relationships within the school community. This position plays a vital role in preparing students for continued success in high school and beyond.

* Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License, with applicable Assistant Principal endorsement(s)
