, supporting students during lunch and recess while helping keep our schools safe, positive, and welcoming.

This position is an excellent fit for parents, grandparents, caregivers, or community members who want to work while children are in school and be part of a strong, supportive school community.

• Schedule:
  
  Approximately 3.5 hours per day, typically starting around 9:00 a.m.
• Work Environment:
  Indoors (cafeteria) and outdoors (playground)
• Pay: $15.00 per hour

Student Supervisors play an important role in students' daily school experience. You'll help ensure that lunch and recess are safe, orderly, and enjoyable, giving students the structure and support they need to recharge and return to learning ready to succeed. If you enjoy being active, working with children, and making a difference in small but meaningful ways, this role may be a great fit for you!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise students in the cafeteria and on the playground
• Help manage lunch routines (releasing students, distributing utensils, assisting with cleanup)
• Monitor student behavior and enforce school rules respectfully and consistently
• Address minor behavior issues and refer more serious concerns to administration
• Watch for and respond to student safety concerns
• Work collaboratively with other supervisors to create a positive, welcoming environment

• Someone who is reliable, attentive, and caring
• Comfortable working with elementary-aged students
• Able to remain calm, observant, and proactive in busy settings
• Willing to work indoors and outdoors, in all types of weather
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours per day)

This role involves:

• Standing, walking, bending, and light lifting
• Indoor cafeteria supervision and outdoor playground supervision
• Active engagement with students throughout the shift
