Justice Support Worker

What you’ll be doing:

You will be supporting participants with areas such as:

• Overcoming practical obstacles such as obtaining , registering with a GP or dentist, and securing or maintaining accommodation
• Supporting people with wider barriers such as low confidence, low literacy or numeracy, and motivation challenges
• Helping people access employability support such as CV writing, job applications, interview preparation, and disclosure guidance
• Facilitating practical courses and learning where appropriate (including vocational learning, basic skills and financial literacy)
• Providing 1-2-1 support and group-based activities so participants can build confidence and routines
• Supporting people to work through structured learning such as recorded sessions or workbooks
• Helping people access partner services and community delivery sites, including pop-up hubs where needed
• Attending collaborative appointments with professionals in the community and helping people feel supported through the process

You might come from a background in criminal justice, probation services, homelessness, substance misuse, mental health, supported housing, or employability. Its essential you have suppported people prevously with the challanges ex–offenders might face.
