We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to join an established manufacturing company in the Medway area. In this role you will manage day‑to‑day financial operations and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

• Oversee financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage and develop a small finance team (5 reports), setting objectives and overseeing day‑to‑day activities.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and financial planning activities.
• Prepare month‑end processes, ensuring costs and income are suitably accrued, prepaid or deferred.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
• Conduct standard cost and sales margin analysis.
• Continuously improve departmental reporting and analysis, working with managers to understand results and drive improvement.
• Partner with key stakeholders to improve financial performance.

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant experience in a similar role.
• Previous people‑management experience.
• Experience in industrial / manufacturing / FMCG environment is ideal.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Strong systems knowledge, preferably SAGE.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving business.
• Practise trained, 2nd step within industry – well sought after.

• Competitive salary range £50,000 to £55,000 per annum + bonus.
