About the Role and
Key Responsibilities
Tailor
EDucation are looking to meet with Qualified Level 3 Qualified Learning Support Assistants available to work on a flexible basis in EYFS settings across Medway.
You will be required to support class teachers and early years practitioners to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences.
Key responsibilities include supporting children with learning activities, promoting positive behaviour, assisting with personal care where required, and helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Tailor
EDucation partners with a wide range of nurseries, preschools, and primary school EYFS settings across the local area. Our partner settings are supportive, child-centred environments that value high-quality early years provision and recognise the importance of skilled, caring support staff in giving children the best start in life.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification recognised for EYFS settings, such as:
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator – EYE)
• CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
• CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator)
• NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (CCLD)
• Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Learning and Development (Early Years Educator)
You will also ideally have:
• Previous experience of working within EYFS settings (nursery, preschool, or school-based EYFS)
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and child development
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young children
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A genuine passion for early years education and supporting children’s wellbeing
