Lifecore Biomedical is seeking a hard-working, reliable team player who wants to expand their career in biomedical manufacturing.

As a Machine Operator, you will set up and operate packaging equipment in the final manufacturing stages of Lifecore products. During the course of your shift, you will:

• Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment that labels, seals and packages Lifecore products
• Perform all processes as required to label, print, tray seal, pouch, final package and inspect Lifecore products
• Document completed work during the packaging of the products
• Participate in the review of batch records, procedures, and practices to help ensure the safety of Lifecore products as well as personnel
• Acquire and maintain cleanroom and gowning qualifications

To qualify as a Machine Operator, you'll need the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least six months experience in the setup and operation of semi-automated manufacturing equipment
• Previous packaging in a medical device or equivalent regulated industry a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• The ability to comprehend and follow written operating procedures
• Able to lift 40 pounds
• Able to stand for the majority of your shift

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 3:15pm - 1:45am

Starting pay: $23.00/hour + $1.25/hour 2nd shift premium
