Job Description:

THE ROLE: Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our team. Theinjectionmolding machine operator producesa variety of high-quality plastic components fromresin pelletsthatareutilizedbyboth internal and external  this role youwillperform a variety of tasksincludingmonitoring andinspectingpressesas well as performing second operations such as clipping, gating, or sortingby following Standard Operating Procedures and high-quality standards.
HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 10PM-6AM SUNDAY-FRIDAY
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Uses different fixtures to verify that the dimensions ofthemolded partsarein accordance with quality and work order requirements.
• Performs differentoperationson molded products using a variety of cutting tools and techniques and by closely following standard operating procedures.
• Safely removes molded parts from the machine conveyor belt or robotic armbyusingappropriate protective gear and handling tools.
• Places molded parts in designated cooling area to allow for controlled cooling processes.
• Carefully handles molded materials to the oven for baking process.
• Packages finished ordersin accordance with specifications, ensuring proper protection and handling.
• UsesSAP and other electronic systems to find,recordand generate documentation throughout theproductionprocess. Records all output and production data in ERP systems andmaintainscompliance with all online training and documentation requirements.
• Ensures product is consistent with established specifications through Camline software byutilizingdifferent measuring tools, such as calipers and drop/height indicators.
• Escalates quality issues to supervisor or toqualitydepartment as appropriate.
  
  Ensures the highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality policy,ISOand/or other standards.
• Works with setup technician in the Injection molding department to troubleshoot issues with molding machines and implement any adjustmentsasneeded.
• Collaborate with materials handler to ensure inventory replenishment of raw materials for molding machine.
• Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly and intimely(i.e.Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels,Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions etc.).Maintainsaccurateattribute/variable charts of rejected materials.
• Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, costeffectivenessandproduct/system quality.
  
  Promotes and implementsuseof continuous improvement tools toeliminatenon-value activities.
  
  Participate actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area. Performs duties in a safe manner andobservesapproved safety procedures.
  
  Communicates potential hazardsimmediatelyto supervisor.
• Completes miscellaneoustasksassigned in support ofthe larger organization and production goals.
• Understand documentation (ASP, DWG,etc) to ensurethe production of quality parts.
• Utilize Stop Work  Authority (SWA) for both Safety and Quality as needed.

WHAT WE SEEK:

• Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship.
• At least one (1) year ofpreviousexperience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Basicproficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite software is preferred.
• Greatattentionto detail and commitment tomaintaininghigh-quality standards.
• Proven ability to execute manufacturing processes within a tight tolerance. Understand documented processes and procedures.
• Must be able to stand and walk for 50% of the duration of the shift.
• Must be able tolift upto 40 pounds.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required tobeworn at all times while on duty. This includes safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and high-visibility vests.
