Supervisor, Reagent Operations

Overview

Supervisor, Reagent Operations reports to the Manager of Reagent Formulations and is part of the Reagent Operations team located in Chaska, Minnesota. The role supervises scientists and technicians who build critical components for clinical diagnostic tools in the form of immunodiagnostic reagent packs.

• Manage and develop a team of manufacturing scientists and technicians to meet production demands.
• Monitor multiple manufacturing runs and support nonconformance investigations, material supply issues, and process improvements to meet schedule and customer demands.
• Work within clearly defined standard operating procedures (SOPs) and scientific methods, adhering to quality guidelines.
• Apply basic analytical skills to scientific methods, operational processes, or data to perform clearly documented activities.

• High school diploma with 8+ years experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience, OR Master’s degree with 3+ years experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail in activities and documentation.
• Effective communication skills with co‑workers.
• Basic computer skills for data management and laboratory process management.

• Travel infrequently.
• Ability to lift, move or carry materials up to 30 lbs.

• Science background highly preferred.
• Multiple years of experience working in a regulated industry.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

The annual salary range for this role is $85,000 – $105,000 USD. This role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
