Specialist, Production Planning

* The Role:

** Our Company is seeking a
** Production Planner
** to join our Centralized Planning team. The
** Production Planner
** should have basic knowledge and understanding of Production Planning/Scheduling methods and practices. Can follow established procedures on routine assignments. Seeks input from supervisor or more experienced peers on issues beyond routine assignments. Assignments are routine or semi-routine and under the guidance of more experienced peers. Work with production scheduling and buying teams to coordinate material constraints as needed Work with master scheduling team to coordinate lead time/capacity constraints as needed Any other duties as assigned
* High school graduate or equivalent
* 1-3 years of experience in a scheduling role or related

Basic understanding and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience preferred

Must have strong analytical skills and be detail oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills
