E. Carver County Schools Building & Grounds Department is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for all students, staff and visitors. Our team provides daily support to maintain building systems and structures, service the grounds, provide custodial services, oversee construction and renovation projects, maintain compliance with building and fire codes, safety and environmental regulations, oversee security and fire alarm systems in all buildings.

Days/

Hours:

Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:30pm

Salary: $23.25/hr. + $0.40/hr. shift differential

Responsible To: Director of Buildings & Grounds

Position

Purpose:

Operates loads and unloads delivery vehicles to provide interschool mail, freight and food service deliveries between buildings. Depending on daily workload, also assists the Grounds/Maintenance department by performing grounds and maintenance duties. You may be assigned to work at different buildings depending on the needs of the district.

Qualifications/

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 70 lbs waist height occasionally
• Lift 50 lbs to chest high regularly
• Extended walking
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals
• Must be in good general health
• Previous experience in cleaning and building maintenance
