Security Officer - Patrol Rover in Charlton, MA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering customer-focused service.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.32 / Hour

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance, documenting events, and communicating updates to site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter routes to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, checking identification and/or credentials when required, and directing visitors and deliveries to appropriate check-in points.
• Complete routine reports and activity logs, including patrol observations, incident details, and facility conditions, using required written and/or electronic reporting tools.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
