We are currently looking for an Assembly Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn. Training will be provided for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Position Summary:
As an Assembly Technician, you will perform a variety of manual tasks to assemble complex fiber components into draw units that support our precision manufacturing processes.
What You'll Do:
- Assemble small and delicate components with precision to meet quality and customer requirements
- Work with engineering teams on special product and project builds
- Select appropriate materials, tools, and instructions needed for each assembly
- Complete all necessary steps in the assembly process to ensure high-quality output
- Accurately document production information and maintain records
- Follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
- Read and interpret routing sheets and process documentation
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Consistent work history and strong reliability
- Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Comfortable working with small, fragile components
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and build complex assemblies
- Experience using microscopes or precision inspection tools is a plus
- Proficiency in English, including speaking, comprehension, reading, and writing, at a level necessary to effectively perform job duties
- Strong manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and visual acuity
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to work required

What We Offer:
- 2nd Shift Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM - Starting Rate:
Typically begins at $20.00/hour, within the pay range listed below - Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.36/hour, based on experience
- Shift Differential:
Additional 10% for 2nd Shift hours - Benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, Disability Insurance, Group Life Insurance; 401(k) with company match;
Annual PTO: 120 hours + 10 paid holidays - Hiring Note: All new hires for this position are initially placed with CoWorx Staffing Agency for a minimum period of 3 months prior to hire by Incom.
