About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Operations FP&A Business Partner to join our team in Charlton, MA. This is a high‑impact role at the intersection of finance and operations, partnering closely with manufacturing and supply chain leaders to connect operational performance with financial results.

The Impact You’ll Make

You’ll serve as a strategic finance partner to operations—bringing strong cost accounting fundamentals, sharp analytical thinking, and business insight to drive profitability, cost transparency, and smarter decision‑making.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead annual operating and capital budgeting processes.
  • Own forecasting cycles and deliver detailed variance analysis.
  • Build financial models to support scenario planning and capital investments.
Cost Accounting
  • Analyze manufacturing performance, COGS trends, overhead absorption, and inventory impacts.
Operational Analytics & Insights
  • Develop and track KPIs across cost, efficiency, throughput, and quality.
  • Maintain dashboards (Power BI / Tableau) that translate data into actionable insights.
  • Identify operational risks and opportunities with clear financial impact.
Strategic Business Partnership
  • Act as the primary finance advisor to operations and supply chain leaders.
  • Develop ROI, payback, and NPV models for equipment and process investments.
  • Present concise, data‑driven recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Enhance forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.
  • Streamline financial processes and improve governance across operations.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of FP&A or operations finance experience (manufacturing strongly preferred).
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • ERP experience (SAP or Oracle preferred).Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ability to simplify complex financial data and influence cross‑functional teams.

Not required but helpful: MBA, capital investment modeling experience, and strong data storytelling skills.
