Work

you'll do/Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of technology services in support of Olympic Games operations, ensuring services are stable, resilient, and aligned to agreed service levels Lead readiness planning, rehearsal coordination, and go-live preparedness activities, ensuring people, processes, and tools are fully aligned to Games-time operational requirements
  • Provide strategic leadership across ITSM processes, including incident, problem, change, and service continuity management, while coordinating closely with technology vendors, functional teams, and Games stakeholders
  • Drive operational excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous service improvement throughout Games-time and readiness phases
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement work streams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience in service management, IT operations, and operational readiness in multi‑stakeholder environments, supporting large‑scale programs and live operations
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks and service delivery practices, including incident, change, continuity, and operational governance processes across distributed teams and vendors
  • Demonstrated experience transitioning projects into operational delivery, establishing processes, governance structures, and tools that support stability and continuous improvement
  • Effective at cross‑functional coordination, aligning technology operations with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and agreed service levels, alongside managing risk mitigation, operational excellence, and structured collaboration throughout
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications;

and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000 to $180,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
