What You’ll DoHR Operations & Employee Support
  • Manage the HR inbox and provide timely guidance on HR policies and employment standards.
  • Prepare HR documents (offer letters, confirmations, status changes, leave letters).
  • Track probation and performance review deadlines.
  • Maintain employee files and ensure accurate HRIS updates.
  • Support HRIS users and identify opportunities for improvements.
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Support recruitment: posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and completing reference checks.
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics, documentation, and orientation support.
  • Keep onboarding materials up to date.
Benefits Coordination
  • Administer benefits programs (enrollments, changes, terminations) and support employee inquiries.
  • Provide benefits orientation to new hires and complete regular audits.
  • Assist with wellness and employee support initiatives.
HRIS, Reporting & Collaboration
  • Maintain accurate HR data and conduct routine audits.
  • Prepare HR reports to support decision-making.
  • Work with Finance to ensure payroll changes are accurate and timely.
  • Support HR initiatives, compensation updates, and annual processes.
  • Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement efforts.
What You Bring Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in an HR coordination, HR assistant, or similar role.
  • Experience supporting recruitment is considered an asset.
Skills & Attributes
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and HR systems; comfort learning new tools and platforms.
  • Understanding of payroll compliance is an asset.
