  • Documentation: Prepare and rigorously review drawings, specifications, and cost estimates in collaboration with multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Mentorship & Oversight: Oversee, mentor, and provide technical feedback to technologists and junior engineers.

  • Coordination: Coordinate closely with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and civil teams to ensure seamless, integrated project delivery.
  • Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with codes, standards (including the NBCC), and quality control procedures, actively contributing to continuous improvement within the firm.
What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer with 3–8 years of progressive structural design experience, ideally within a consulting engineering environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (a Master’s degree is an asset)
  • Be registered—or immediately eligible for registration—as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers PEI (APEPEI)

This role requires strong technical expertise in the design and detailing of steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber structures, along with a solid working knowledge of the National Building Code of Canada, CSA, and ASTM standards. You should be proficient with technical tools, including AutoCAD and/or Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and structural analysis/design software such as STAAD Pro (or equivalent).

We’re looking for a professional who communicates clearly, writes effectively, and stays organized while excelling both independently and collaboratively. Above all, you have a genuine commitment to professional growth, innovation, and continuous learning, and are eager to contribute to meaningful, community‑focused projects within a supportive, mentorship‑driven environment.
