Position: Office Administrator - Contract, 12 months

Contract - Maternity Leave

The Office Administrator is a key role in the day‑to‑day operations by providing administrative support to the branch. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, able to work in a within a team environment and has the ability to provide excellent customer service both over the phone and in person.

Salary- $20-23/hr

Qualifications
  • Experience in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Capable of working extended hours during peak seasons in the spring and fall.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team oriented with the ability to work with multiple departments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • Comfortable learning new software programs.
  • Exposure or knowledge of agronomy would be considered an asset
Responsibilities
  • Customer Service both over the phone and in person (responding to order inquiries, general inquiries and create sales orders and running front‑counter sales).
  • Working closely with the sales department to ensure sales orders are processed in a timely manner.
  • Administrative duties (reporting, filing, collecting certifications, asset inventory, etc.).
  • Electronic inventory tracking (reporting, cycle counts, production reports, year‑end, etc.).
  • Customer accounts including customer payments, answering account inquiries, and credit policy adherence.
  • Data entry, including budget sensitive entries, weekly entry and period‑end reconciliations.
  • Providing purchase orders and reconciliation of payable invoices.
  • Assisting the corporate HR and Finance department with monthly and seasonal department deliverables.
  • Provide support and correspond with Operations, Finance, HR, and Management team.
