Overview
Virginia Eagle Distributing Company is currently hiring for a full time 2nd shift Warehouse Associate. 4 day work week Monday - Thursday which gives you a 3 day weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)!
This is a 4 day schedule. Monday - Thursday, Second (2nd) Shift 12:00 pm to close
ResponsibilitiesThe 2nd shift warehouse position builds beverage orders by stacking quantities of beer and non-alcoholic beverages on pallets using a forklift or electric pallet jack. The position is responsible for doing so accurately and quickly to company standards. Other duties may include loading trucks, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining a clean working environment.
Qualifications- Prefer previous warehouse experience; however, applicants with good job stability are also a good fit.
- Must be able to lift and carry, including overhead lifting, 15-40 pounds or more on a repetitive basis during a 10 to 15 hour day with frequent bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling and sitting.
- Must be able to utilize basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Ability to communicate utilizing the English language in verbal and written form.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
