Laundry Delivery Driver

Position: LAUNDRY DELIVERY DRIVER
The Laundry Delivery Driver is responsible for supporting daily laundry operations while safely transporting linens, towels, uniforms, and specialty items between facilities across the property grounds. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the club's high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and efficiency.

The Laundry Delivery Driver works hands-on in the laundry department and ensures timely, accurate delivery of clean items while collecting soiled items for processing. This position requires operating a van and, at times, a golf cart. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
Laundry Operations

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute towels, linens, uniforms, and specialty items
• Properly sort items by fabric type, color, and care instructions
• Follow correct chemical usage and handling procedures
• Inspect items for cleanliness, damage, and presentation quality
• Remove and report damaged items to management
• Maintain organization and cleanliness within the laundry facility
• Ensure timely turnaround to support locker rooms, food & beverage, golf operations, and events

Transportation & Delivery Responsibilities

• Safely transport clean and soiled laundry between facilities on club grounds
• Load and unload laundry carts and supplies into van and/or golf cart
• Ensure accurate delivery to designated departments
• Maintain delivery schedules to support operational efficiency
• Perform basic vehicle checks to ensure safe operation
• Immediately report vehicle or safety concerns to management
• Follow all traffic and property safety regulations while operating vehicles

Facility Support & Coordination

• Communicate with department leaders regarding delivery timelines and supply needs
• Assist with organizing storage areas in receiving departments
• Support operational adjustments during high-volume events
• Assist with workflow improvements as needed

Equipment, Safety & Standards

• Operate commercial washers, dryers, folders, and presses as needed
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures (SDS compliance)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Use proper lifting techniques and adhere to workplace safety standards

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
• Ability to operate a van and golf cart safely
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or delivery experience preferred
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
