Maintenance Technician

Do you have maintenance skills? This is the job you've been searching for! Our Maintenance Team needs the right person to join them to provide maintenance at the airport.

• All aspects of airfield and grounds maintenance.
• Perform general building maintenance functions such as repairs to facilities, painting, routine carpentry, minor plumbing and general cleaning.
• Be on-call for snow removal operations.
• Potential eligibility to be a member of the Aircraft and Firefighting team upon completion of fire and rescue training provided by the airport.

Available shift: Sunday - Wednesday 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM.

Hourly rate: $ (based on experience). Upon successful completion of fire training, you will receive an annual salary increase of $5,200.

Full‑time employees receive health care coverage with 100% of employee cost currently paid by the Authority, retirement and life insurance coverage in the Virginia Retirement System, two weeks paid leave and thirteen paid holidays.

• Successful completion of fingerprint‑based criminal history records check, employment background check, pre‑employment drug screening and possession of a valid Virginia driver’s license with a driving record insurable by Authority’s automobile liability carrier.
