We're seeking an experienced Plumbing Mechanic to support commercial new‑construction projects. This role focuses on installation and layout of plumbing systems, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with code and safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong commercial plumbing experience and thrives working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Install water supply and drainage systems in new commercial buildings
- Lay out, assemble, and install piping systems, fixtures, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes
- Cut, thread, and bend pipe using appropriate tools and techniques
- Install supports and hangers for piping and equipment
- Perform pressure tests and inspections to verify system integrity
- Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on‑site
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards
- 3–5+ years of commercial plumbing experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and construction procedures
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Reliable transportation and basic tool set
- OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
- Journeyman plumbing license (as required by local/state regulations)
