In 2024, Trump Winery added a fresh twist to its legacy with the opening of our Cider Tasting Room — an inviting space nestled in the heart of Virginia wine country where crisp, handcrafted cider meets warm hospitality. We are building a team to help shape the guest experience and bring this new venture to life. Title: Cider Tasting Room Associate - Part Time, non-exempt, less than 30 hours per week

Location: Trump Cider Tasting Room - 20 minutes south of Downtown Charlottesville, 20 minutes north of Scottsville

Hours: Sundays – Tuesday 12:00pm to 5:00pm, Fridays & Saturdays 12:00pm to 6:00pm, weekdays and weekends, and some holiday availability is preferred

Wage: $8.00/hr plus tips (average tip range is an additional $15/hr-$20/hr)

• Greeting and educating guests on cider and Charlottesville tourism
• Serve cider, wine and food to guests
• Promote profitable sales of Trump Cider, merchandise and events
• Respond intelligently to guest questions regarding Trump Winery, cider making and Albemarle Estate
• Execution of opening and closing duties
• Clean, organize, and stock Tasting Room, restrooms and kitchen
• Process payment transactions on POS system
• Work in a team environment as well as independently
• Attend scheduled ongoing training
• Provide assistance to guests carrying out purchases
• Perform daily cleaning of tasting room, restroom, patio, kitchen, office and parking lot
• Other duties as assigned to ensure the business runs efficiently

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Previous winery and/or cidery experience a plus
• Exemplary customer service skills
• Ability to interact with guests with all levels of cider/wine knowledge
• Must have an interest in learning about cider and wine
• Can handle multiple tasks at one time
• Communicates professionally in person and on the phone
• Is passionate about selling cider and food
• Ability to anticipate guests needs and respond appropriately
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Pre-employment background check required
