Provide exceptional customer service to guests dining in The Mill Room by taking orders, serving guests, advising guests on available food and beverage options, satisfying guest needs, and following Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Four Diamond Service Expectations.

Essential Job Functions
  • Greet guests once seated
  • Provide menu tours, answer questions about menu items
  • Make recommendations for cocktails, beer, and wine pairings
  • Monitor guest dining experiences and report issues to the Restaurant Manager
  • Follow and meet Forbes Four Star Service Expectations
  • Follow department opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards
  • Create guest checks and process payments
  • Handle equipment and materials responsibly
  • Acquire and practice menu/wine knowledge and up-selling techniques
  • Attend training sessions and complete assigned projects
  • Communicate effectively with other departments
  • Contribute to team efforts and perform additional duties as assigned
Work Environment

Mill Room Restaurant and Kitchen area.

Requirements Essential
  • At least 1 year of serving experience in a fine dining setting
  • Polite, friendly demeanor
  • Neat, clean appearance
  • Willingness to follow sanitary food service rules
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Proficiency with Micros for order entry and check preparation
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol

All employees must adhere to safety rules, use safety equipment, report unsafe conditions, and be familiar with safety procedures related to their duties.
