Pest Control Technician

Role Description

This is a full-time position for a Pest Control Technician at Monticello Pest Solutions, located on-site in Charlottesville, VA. The Technician will be responsible for performing rodent and insect control services for residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting properties for evidence of pests, implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies, applying treatments, and communicating preventive measures or solutions to customers.

Technicians will also maintain equipment and adhere to safety and environmental regulations during all service activities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Pest Control techniques, including PEST services and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles
• Experience in Lawn Care and property maintenance to support pest control strategies
• Strong verbal and written Communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to safely handle equipment and chemicals, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Commercial Certification or licensed as a registered pest control applicator
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or related certifications are advantageous
