These jobs focus on managing the financial aspects of patient care, including billing, insurance claims, payment processing, financial counseling, utilization and revenue cycle analysis.
These roles are responsible for managing patient entry points into the healthcare system, including scheduling, registration, and verifying insurance. Patient access staff ensure that patients can efficiently navigate administrative processes while maintaining data accuracy and enhancing the patient experience.
Represents people leaders (hire/fire authority) with majority of time spent overseeing their area of responsibility. Achieve goals through direct and/or indirect reports.
Manages/Supervises professional level employees within a Job Area. Focuses on tactical and operational plans and strategy with short to mid-term focus. Develops solutions to moderately complex problems, and may escalation more complex issues to higher level management. Ensures that staff is utilized efficiently and daily work projects are completed on time and within budget.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation:
Bachelors Degree required or obtained within 3 years of hire date. Master's Degree preferred.
Experience:
3 years of medical background in outpatient/ambulatory setting.
Licensure:
None required. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia preferred.
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
Position Compensation Range: $66,528.00 - $ Annual
