Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Administrative Coordinator - Intake and Scheduling Home Health

RN Administrative Coordinator

This RN Administrative Coordinator is primarily responsible for reviewing all incoming patient referrals for home health, nursing and therapy services, daily scheduling of home health float staff, and patient care coordination while a patient is pending their home health start of care or resumption of care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of internal/external customers according to established professional standards and institutional guidelines/policy/procedure.
  • Organize and prioritize services and activities considering the needs of the customers.
  • Actively participate in quality improvement program development and professional growth activities for self while assisting in the professional development of others.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of services.
  • Demonstrate leadership in the delivery of services.
  • Provide a safe environment and safe delivery of services.
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements

Education:

Graduate of accredited nursing program, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.

Experience:

3 years relevant Registered Nurse experience required. Previous home health, home care, or home infusion experience highly recommended.

Licensure:
Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. Active driver's license required.

Physical Demands

Job requirements:

None required. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills;
Attention to detail and ability to write legibly;
Ability to lift/push/pull 20-50lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

Compensation

Starting Rate – $81,078.40

Position Compensation Range: $70,600.00 – $ Annual

Onboarding Requirements

Background checks and pre‑employment health screenings will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment. All safety‑sensitive positions with direct patient interaction also require a drug screen.
