Summary:
These roles provide essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. Ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations by handling tasks that support the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care. Allied Health - Health Services professionals work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services. These roles focus on the preparation, performance, and post-operative support to surgical teams.
Responsibilities include sterilization, instrument preparation and handling, and/or operational or hands-on support required during surgery. May work in our hospitals, surgical centers, and clinics, and have responsibilities from planning and preparation to recovery and follow-up. Does not include Perioperative Nurses.
Individual contributors who provide support to an organization, often in direct service, operational, technical or administrative functions. Spends majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience.
Recognized specialist in the Job Area. Responsible for leading daily operations. Trains, delegates and reviews the work of lower level employees. Problems are typically difficult and non-routine but not complex. Influences others outside the Job Area regarding practices and procedures
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:

Relevant licensure/certifications preferred, or may be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills;
Attention to detail and ability to write legibly;
Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The starting base rate for this role is $21.95 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
