Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for Cornell 2- our Neuro Oncology unit! This is a full-time Day Shift position in Charlottesville, VA.

Cornell 2: Our Medical/Surgical Unit specializes in Neuro Oncology, urology, vascular, and chest tube care, providing a dynamic environment for experienced nursing professionals and new graduates. With a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5/1:6, you'll develop your skills while receiving mentorship from experienced staff. We care for a diverse patient population, including those with CHF, COPD, oncology patients with neutropenia or new diagnoses, and amputations.
Operating on 12-hour shifts with weekend rotations, we offer comprehensive orientation and ongoing professional development to foster collaboration and growth in your nursing career. Led by our clinical manager, a 2025 Clinical President's Award winner, our team is dedicated to recognizing excellence and supporting your success.

Education
- Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
- Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.
- Registered nursing License (Required)
- Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License.
- BLS required within 90 days of hire
- None required
- 1 year of acute care (preferred)
- Previous healthcare experience (preferred)
