Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) night shift position requiring BLS, ACLS, Epic experience, and a VA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities

• Work in a 24-bed Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) in a hospital setting

• Patient population includes those undergoing cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries such as CABG, valve repair/replacement, heart and lung transplantation

• Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (19:00-07:00), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

• Adherence to facility float policy across clinical units

• Care for post-surgical cardiovascular, thoracic, and transplant patients in a high-acuity critical care setting

• Up to 40 hours of time off allowed per 13-week contract

• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed

• Must follow dress code as set by the unit

• No radius rule for travel consideration

• A 12-month gap is required before returning as a traveler following a previous assignment with this client

• Every other holiday coverage is mandatory

• Please inform your account manager if aware of any background concerns
Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license is required, or a pending VA license may be accepted

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Epic EMR experience required

• Two professional references required for consideration
