Overview
PRIMARY FUNCTION The Resident Services Project Coordinator is responsible for coordination of service delivery within the Piedmont Housing Alliance portfolio. Their role encompasses specific programming aimed at offering opportunities for residents to engage and lead across multiple activities, as well as meeting resident services needs on a case-by-case basis. This position reports to the Resident Services Manager, is part of the broader Impact & Innovations Department, and is grounded in our core values of home, justice, respect, hope, and community.
Resident Services works closely with our Property Management team to ensure alignment of services. - One to two years of resident services and/or community engagement experience.
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Share Point
- Experience working with various populations, cultures, and communication styles.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with community partners.
- Proven ability to work with little or no direct supervision on daily basis.
- Ability to organize time efficiently, prioritize tasks and perform tasks in a self-directed manner.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Must own or consistently have a vehicle available for use for local and out of area travel as needed.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.
- Manages regularly occurring programming to residents at all properties including youth activities, senior events, food distribution, health services, and other similar activities.
- Creates opportunities for capacity building among residents in areas such as financial self-sufficiency and community building by connecting residents with partner resources.
- Facilitate resident services and committees recurring meetings.
- Support creation of a Resident Association for each of Piedmont Housing’s communities.
- Coordinates annual Senior Gifts program across all communities, including both collecting gift requests, compiling donations, and coordinating distribution.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining long term relationships with partner organizations and providers.
- Communicates clearly with residents to ensure clarity and robust engagement.
- Collects and analyzes resident feedback on management, maintenance, and services quality and follow-up with the appropriate staff members.
- Collects and reports data on community demographics.
- Coordinates external volunteers, including onboarding, training, and management.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining long term relationships with potential referral resources and customers such as community agencies, non-profit organizations, local grocery
- Actively work to build your professional capacity, engage in skill-building trainings and invest in growth opportunities to build innovation and impact.
- Be a positive representative for Piedmont Housing in media inquiries, at events within the field, and with peer organizations as requested.
- Strengthen organizational culture, engage in full staff activities, contribute to a culture of openness and respect, and actively identify, evaluate and improve beliefs, practices, policies, and structures that inform our work.
