Install Specialist / IT Certified Professional – Apex Systems is hiring for a global leader in technology solutions and professional services.

• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Performing network monitoring, operations, and routine maintenance.
• Supporting end users with hardware/software needs and training.
• Applying updates, patches, and preventative maintenance for systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues using automated tools.
• Assisting with minor system tasks and field service support.

• Associate's Degree with 7+ years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Perform STIGs & IAVA implementation for system devices, perform imaging of systems, CERP replacement, etc.
• Ability to interact with customers daily and provide guidance on account requests, e‑mail, home directories, file access, storage, local procedures, etc.
• Perform Level I/II Active Directory functions such as unlocking accounts, creating and issuing accounts, etc.

• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification prior to support on contract.
• IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent.
• Required Computing Environment Certification: MCSA Windows Server 2012, Solaris 10, Linux+, VCP5, Azure Administrator Fundamentals, etc.

Charlottesville, VA – Monday – Friday, 12 Midnight to 8 AM (onsite).

TS/SCI Clearance level required. Candidates must obtain and maintain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance as a condition of employment.

• $34.56/hr plus paid Federal Holidays and paid sick leave.
• 2 weeks of PTO after the first year on contract.
