The U.S. Army FIRES Program is subordinate to the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC). FIRES (The NGIC FICA Branch) provides worldwide targeted structure, facilities and infrastructure‑centric intelligence in support of the Army, DoW, IC, and interagency partners in order to provide decisive advantage to Warfighters and Decision Makers, and enable United States security. FIRES provides actionable leads to support operations while also publishing all‑source intelligence products and addressing Requests for Information.
ResponsibilitiesYou’ll work with a multi‑disciplinary analytical team to provide cultural, language, and all‑source analysis using the expertise derived from your language skills and cultural knowledge. You will use open‑source intelligence (OSINT) tools and tradecraft to collect and analyze publicly available information (PAI) in support of the team’s mission. Additionally, you’ll transcribe and/or translate source material, both printed and audio, providing analysis and reporting of translated Chinese source material.
QualificationsRequired:
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a current Top Secret security clearance.
- Must possess native or near‑native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and a minimum of 3/3 on the DLPT or equivalent test.
- This position supports a multi‑discipline analytical team solving difficult problems that vary between projects, and includes long‑term>
- Experience working in a fused team environment is a plus.
- Intelligence experience in a fusion environment.
- Experience conducting OSINT collection. OSINT training including OS300 or equivalent.
- Knowledge of intelligence disciplines’ capabilities, limitations, and platforms to include HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, and OSINT.
- Experience in intelligence support to targeting.
- Experience writing and/or briefing intelligence products.
- Experience in engineering (any discipline), computer science, or other technical fields.

Pay RangeThe proposed salary range for this position is: $90,300-$189,600.
