Segra is searching for a qualified and experienced Lead GIS Developer to work in one of the following offices:
Kansas City, MO;
Charlotte, NC;
Denver, CO;
Richmond, VA;
Waynesboro, VA;
Charlottesville, VA;
Charleston, WV; or Columbia, SC.

Role Overview:

The Lead GIS Developer will be responsible for all GIS day-to-day activities including data requests, geospatial queries, ETL from other GIS systems, and App development using ESRI SDK or similar tech. The incumbent will manage ESRI licenses, plan and schedule platform updates and upgrades, and serve as a SME regarding data governance, development, and automation.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS and working with ESRI

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, computer science or a related field is required
• Knowledge of and skill in the use of these ESRI products:
  Arc Map, Arc Catalog, ArcSDE, AGOL, and Arc Engine. ESRI specific training and certifications a plus.
• Knowledge of and skill in the use of these CAD systems: M4, Visio or Autosketch.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software is required to include email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Microsoft office Visio and Access skills preferred.
• Ability to thoroughly understand network diagrams/maps, learn network terminologies, and problem-solve on the fly.
• Understanding of critical mapping techniques through multiple mapping programs.
• Ability to manage multiple workloads with often rapid deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new technology and adjust to different ones.

Salary Range: $82,100 - $102,700
