Overview

Allied Health - Health Services professionals work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services.
ResponsibilitiesThese jobs are responsible for performing diagnostic neurophysiological and cardiovascular testing to assist in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of neurological and cardiac conditions. The job family focuses on conducting digital electroencephalograms (dEEG) to evaluate brain activity and electrocardiograms (EKG or ECG) to assess heart function. Individual contributors have responsibility in a clinical discipline or specialty, typically diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients, often including face-to-face interactions and designing and implementing clinical programs, policies, and services using specialized knowledge and skills.
Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Bio Medicine, Life Science or related discipline required. - Experience:
4+ years of specialized formal and/or on-the-job training in a comprehensive electrophysiology setting or background preparation in Bio Engineering or a Life Science.
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping and traveling, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); computer keyboard work; proficiency in communication, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
CompensationPosition Compensation Range: $82,700.80 - $ Annual
