Setting: Dialysis Center Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday

Requirement: Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration

Join a talented group of close to 80 dietitians with Morrison Healthcare at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Virginia. At this level one trauma center, dietitians play an integral role on multidisciplinary teams in inpatient and outpatient settings. RDs participate in research and quality improvement projects, host dietetic interns, and are supported in pursuing leadership and community service experiences.

Continuing education opportunities are plentiful from within the nutrition team and the health system.

We operate 12 outpatient dialysis facilities in Central Virginia. Current Opening:
Fulltime Outpatient Dialysis Facility in Altavista, VA — 30 miles south of Lynchburg, VA.

• Is a renal RDN in outpatient dialysis facility covering approximately 80–100 patients.
• Includes a team of thirteen RDs in 12 facilities, providing support, education and networking.
• Enjoys working with a comprehensive interdisciplinary healthcare team in a chronic care setting.
• Provides education opportunities for MDs, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
• Encourages growth and professional advancement as part of a dynamic nutrition team.

• Is enthusiastic about renal nutrition, continuous quality improvement and comprehensive individualized plan of care for chronic kidney disease patients.
• Is able to work well independently, as well as with a team.
• Has a minimum of one year clinical experience post registration with the CDR.
• Has a strong interest in renal disease states and clinical nutrition.
