The Quality Assurance Specialist position allows a hybrid schedule of two days remote and three days in office. This position offers a chance to effect change in agency systems through internal qualitative reviews. The QA Specialist has reason to interact with leadership and all Region Ten programs/departments. This position is integral with the testing and implementation of new innovative initiatives being brought forth in the agency.

TITLE:
Quality Assurance Specialist
This is a FLSA non-exempt position. The incumbent serves as the access point for all agency information regarding Medicaid quality assurance, HIPAA compliance, medical records and agency services policies and procedures. The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for supporting programs and ensuring that the documentation of clinical services follows the licensure requirements of the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, and the requirements of the various Medicaid Programs.
The incumbent will serve under the direct supervision of the Compliance Manager. Position performance requires the use of a variety of complex, technical procedures and the analysis of facts in determining action. Analyzes situations, circumstances and patterns of process that hinder the effectiveness of the quality assurance, medical records, and Medicaid standards and makes suggestions for improvement.

SALARY:
The initial hourly rate is negotiable and based on education/experience.
