The PRN Staff Pharmacist will provide comprehensive patient care, including:

• Processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling members regarding health care and prescription medication needs while maintaining confidential information.
• Managing controlled medications and required documentation.
• Enforcing and providing direction and guidance to Associates on proper Member service approaches and techniques, ensuring Member needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within Company guidelines and standards.
• Ensuring compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations through analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews, and developing action plans.
• Maintaining confidential information and documentation as required by Company policies and local State and Federal guidelines.
• Promoting respect for diversity, fostering a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, and building strong relationships through communication and positivity.
• Acting with integrity by upholding the highest standards of ethics and compliance and supporting Walmart’s goal of becoming a regenerative company.

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm

D. degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP). Pharmacy license (by job entry date). Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
