General Definition of WorkResponsible for providing psychological services needed for students of the school division and provide crisis intervention services, perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions- Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations to assess a student’s level of cognitive, academic, social/emotional, and behavioral functioning in order to assist in the identification of an educational disability;
- Prepare clearly written, comprehensive psychological reports that address the referral issues and provide practical recommendations that can be realistically implemented by school personnel and used to assist in the development of the Individual Educational Plan (IEP) or intervention plans;
- Provide psycho educational consultation to teachers, counselors, administrators, other school personnel, and parents to assist with the amelioration of school-related problems;
- Provide counseling as a related service for students with an IEP and/or brief individual and/or group counseling to students needed to assist with the amelioration of school-related problems;
