This is a full-time on-site role located in Charlottesville, VA, for an Upper Elementary School Teacher. Responsibilities include designing and implementing engaging lesson plans in line with curriculum guidelines, teaching core subjects to upper elementary students, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment. The teacher will also assess student progress, communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, and foster a passion for lifelong learning.

Collaboration with educational staff to support student development and active participation in school activities will also be expected.

• Experience in Teaching and Elementary Education, demonstrating expertise in engaging with diverse student groups
• Proficiency in Curriculum Development to design effective and inspiring educational programs
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Educational qualifications such as a degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Prior classroom teaching experience or coursework in pedagogy is a plus
