Overview
The University of Virginia's School of Education seeks qualified applicants for the Department of Human Services to teach and provide content expertise for programs in Counselor Education for the academic year and 2026 Summer.
Position detailsPositions will be filled on an as-needed basis according to curriculum needs. Appointments are typically for teaching a single course. This is an at-will faculty wage position with no benefits. Opportunities may be available on campus at UVA or online. If no position is currently available, applications will be retained on file for future consideration during the academic year and summer 2026.
QualificationsA terminal degree is preferred, but not required, in an appropriate field of study for the course to be taught. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching excellence. Previous K-12 or higher education teaching experience in the course content area is strongly preferred.
