Director of Worship

Sunday Worship Responsibilities

* Design weekly worship service together with the Senior Pastor

* Lead and coordinate musical elements of Sunday worship

* Prepare musical arrangements and lead weekly rehearsal for Sunday worship

* Oversee sound board, slides, and other A/V operations

* Coordinate and support monthly choir participation with Choir Director

Other Responsibilities

* Recruit, train, develop, and organize worship volunteers

* Design and lead special worship services in coordination with the Senior Pastor

* Prepare original music for use in gathered worship (if desire and gifting)

* Manage worship equipment, coordinate annual budget, and oversee other administrative matters

* Oversee A/V needs for events and special services at Trinity

* Supervise Worship Coordinator, Choir Director, and other worship staff

* Coordinate and participate in regular meetings of the Session's Worship Committee

* Regular involvement in staff meetings and staff prayer

Requirements

Qualifications

* Godly character and mature walk with Christ; joyful commitment to Reformed theology

* Gifted musician; able to lead worship with excellence, vocally and instrumentally

* Self-starting problem solver with organizational and administrative skills

* Humble leader with ability to build and coordinate teams of volunteers

* 3+ years of experience in similar roles in a church (preferred)
