Position Summary
The Remodeling Project Lead is a working Carpenter is capable of managing residential remodeling projects from contract signing through final walk-through and warranty closeout. This hands-on role oversees scheduling, trade partners, material coordination, quality control, and homeowner experience.
Responsibilities
The Remodeling Project Lead will:
- Manage day-to-day project execution, jobsite safety, scheduling, trade partner coordination, and material deliveries.
- Maintain and track the project schedule, ensuring proactive planning and communication.
- General demolition, carpentry, MEP (overall trade work where the project or scope is too small for a trade partner to handle).
- Complete daily site walks to ensure readiness, organization, and adherence to safety standards.
- Review plans, specifications, purchase orders, and change orders to ensure accurate project execution.
- Send weekly client progress updates and lead the project orientation at turnover.
- Create and manage punch lists to achieve a "zero punch list" completion goal.
- Oversee warranty service and close out all required inspections and documentation.
The Remodeling Project Lead succeeds when:
- Projects are completed on time, on budget, and to established quality standards.
- Homeowners are highly satisfied with communication and craftsmanship.
- Job sites remain professional, safe, and aligned with company values.
- Experience in residential construction or remodeling (lead/supervisory experience required).
- Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients, trade partners, and team members.
- A proactive and accountable work style-the Remodeling Project Lead sets the tone on the jobsite
- Competitive pay $55,000 to $95,000 (Depending on experience)
