Secondary Counselor - Fishing Camps

Overview

We are hiring for Camp Counselors for Summer 2026! We are looking for Secondary Counselors (16-20 years old) for our Outdoor Youth Programs. Spend your Summer months in the beautiful outdoors teaching campers the basics of fishing. Our fishing camps have age ranges: 6-8 yr olds, and 9-14 yr olds. We visit private and public waters to fish for bass, sunfish, catfish, crappie, and whatever is biting!

We have access to kayaks, canoes, and john boats that the campers utilize on the daily. Our main goal is to help campers build a positive relationship with the outdoors.

• Keep campers safe in the outdoors
• Plan summer camp games
• Help to create a fun week

Job duties also include working well in groups, being responsible, adaptive, and outgoing. Flexible hours, competitive pay, and a fun work environment!

• Preferred work experience: experience that complements being a camp counselor such as:
  Camp Counselor, Raft Guide, Lifeguard, etc.
• Helpful experience but not required: knowledge of fishing, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, experience working or interacting with youth
• Skills:
  
  Patient and reliable; experience working with children; familiarity with various outdoor activities; energetic and positive personality; ability to meet the physical demands of the job (doing activities outside in the Summer)
